Food tour stop at one of Bogotá’s oldest restaurants – only 110 years old!

  • One of Bogotá’s oldest restaurants and trying their famous empanadas.
  • One of the hundreds of small bakeries where Colombians snack throughout the day (pandebono, buñuelos and avena helada)
  • An incredibly well-stocked fruit and vegetable market – see, smell and taste some of Colombia’s exotic fruits (granadilla, guanabana, curuba, lulo, pitaya, higo, and more)
  • A high-end restaurant showcasing typical Colombian ingredients and dishes in a fine dining setting – fresh fruit juices and several tastings of their top-selling dishes.

Bogotá is lucky to have the country’s regional cuisines available for locals and visitors to taste, with everything from chiguiro, to arroz con coco, ajiaco, big ass ants, tamales, bandeja paisa and lechona (just to name a few), all washed down with Colombia’s famous fresh fruit juices. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about Colombian cuisine on your next visit to Bogotá…
